Truss's attempt to transplant American conservative media to the United Kingdom has aligned her more closely to divisive personalities such as John Solomon.

He founded his media outlet in the wake of scrutiny after he was accused of circulating false stories about the President's actions in the Eastern European nation, as well as contentious articles about the former US ambassador to the region.

Solomon's reporting were repeated across the pro-Trump outlets, with Solomon featuring as a frequent visitor on the prominent cable news broadcast. Trump himself boosted his stories.
