Plane Transporting Pete Hegseth Forced to Land in UK Due to Crack in Cockpit Window
An aircraft ferrying Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth was required to make an emergency landing in the UK on Wednesday following a fracture was identified in the jet's front window, as stated by an official announcement which confirmed that all passengers were secure.
"The plane landed based on established safety measures and all passengers, among them Secretary Hegseth, is unharmed," an official representative stated in a online announcement.
He was traveling back from a quick journey to the city of Brussels during the flight.
This incident is not the first time that a US military aircraft ferrying a high-ranking official has experienced technical problems.
Earlier this year, a American military jet transporting the US Secretary of State to the city in Germany was compelled to turn back to Washington DC after experiencing a technical issue.
