Chiefs Confirm Alleged Abuse Claims Involving Wide Receiver Rashee Rice
The Kansas City Chiefs issued a statement Wednesday night stating they have knowledge of claims of abuse made public in social media posts by a former girlfriend of wide receiver the athlete and had been in communication with the NFL.
The team omitted the name of Rice specifically in their statement and said they would have “nothing more to add at this time”.

Dacoda Nichole Jones, who also did not mention Rice by name, shared a set of images on Instagram that appeared to show indicators of bodily harm. She stated the individual in question was the parent of her kids, and reports indicate she has two children with the football player, whom the team drafted in the second round.
